John Kalli, CEO of IT Company to Receive Spinnaker Community Service Award

John Kalli, Marlboro, N.J., the CEO of Trinity Worldwide Technologies, LLC, an IT company, will receive the Community Service Award at the 24th annual Spinnaker Awards ceremony given by the Eastern Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce, Red Bank, on January 28, 2016, at the Shadowbrook, 1 Obre Place, Shrewsbury, N.J.
The Community Service Award is given to a business that has shown a “dedication to the good of the eastern Monmouth community by its leadership and spirit in support of our quality of life.”
Kalli, who created Trinity in 2002 with his partner William Laohoo, has had more than 35 years of experience in the information technology industry. At Trinity, Kalli is primarily responsible for managing the company and overseeing sales. Before establishing Trinity, Kalli was the COO of Pyramid Consulting Services Inc., an IT consulting firm where he managed company operations.
Kalli graduated from Montclair State University, formerly Montclair State College, Upper Montclair, N.J., with a B.A. in mathematics and a minor in computer science. He is also a graduate of CEO Space International, 2007, an entrepreneurial and educational organization designed to “train the next generation of innovative disruptors.”
He serves on the boards of MODC (Monmouth Ocean Development Council) and its finance committee, and Corporate Resource Alliance (CRA) where he is secretary. He also served on the business advisory board for three years at Rumson-Fair Haven Bank, now 1st Constitution Bank. Kalli is the chairman of Solutions Pregnancy & Health Center, Shrewsbury, having served as its vice chairman.
Kalli’s business memberships include the 815 Networking Group; the 4th Thursday Networking Group, which he co-founded; and four chambers of commerce, including the Eastern Monmouth Area Chamber, the Jersey Shore Chamber, the Greater Ocean Township Chamber and the Kingdom Chamber. Kalli is also the founder of Calvary Chapel Old Bridge Businessmen’s Fellowship.
Trinity, whose business is made up of nearly 25 percent in the non-for-profit market, is dedicated to donating a portion of its services to many nonprofits, including the chambers to which he belongs, Solutions Pregnancy & Health Center, and Calvary Chapel Old Bridge.
Kalli and his wife Lori have two children. Their son is a network engineer for Trinity and their daughter is a high school math teacher.
